“FROM FORESTRY TO FINE ART”
Christopher F.B. Potter was born in London, England, in 1943 and emigrated to Canada in 1965. He lives and works from his studio in historic Fort Langley, British Columbia.
After retiring from the forest industry in 2002, he became the chief photographer for the national travel magazine HolidayMaker and supplied photos to various publications until 2013.
He was introduced to painting in 2007 when he attended a watercolour class given by Linda Muttitt. Acrylic classes followed, with Janice Robertson, and he continues to study with both accomplished artists. A workshop with Leslie Redhead in Spain offered further inspiration.
